Salt bath – Technique and applications

The importance of salt water baths


“Sea water or salt water is very effective in removing diseased energy from the energy body. Salt water treatment will greatly cleanse the energy body and gradually strengthen the body and its defense system. Although this treatment is simple, it is quite effective and therefore should be taken seriously.” – MCKS


According to the book "Miracle of Pranic Healing", MCKS says that this treatment should be done once or twice a day because the energy body gets dirty again after some time or a day. This is also why the treatment should be done daily or thrice a week for at least several months or lifetime.


Technique 1: Immersion in a salt bath


Prepare a mixture of salt and water.

  • Put about two kilos of sea salt or fine salt in a bathtub of lukewarm water . The temperature should be about 39-40°C.

  • Soak in it for 15/20 minutes . This should be done every day.

  • You can start doing this every day for the first two weeks, then gradually decrease the frequency to three times a week for as long as needed.


    Additional tips:

  • You can also add about seven drops of lavender and tea tree essential oils . This has a cleansing and normalizing effect.

  • Do it in the evening when you can relax afterwards.

    It is good to do the meditation on the Twin Hearts* or pranic breathing* in order to recharge yourself with lots of good energy.

    Otherwise, you can just go to bed.

Technique 2: A salt water shower


  • Place a handful of fine sea salt in a bowl. If you wish, you can add a few drops of tea tree oil and/or lavender oil to the salt. *

  • Take a normal shower. Then, while the body is still wet, rub the salt all over the body from head to toe.

    Some people may have an allergic reaction if salt is applied to the face. If you are comfortable with it, you can gently apply it to your face.

  • Keep the salt on the body for 2-3 minutes - this is very important.

  • After that you can rinse off .


    Additional tips:

  • * in step 1, after adding the essential oil (or not, it's optional) add a little water to create a paste that will be easier to put on your body without it falling on the floor.

    Also Maitre Co told us that it is good to chant OM 7 times on this mixture before using it in order to increase its effectiveness.

In some cases, when additional purification is desired, a salt bath can be enhanced by mixing it with coffee. More details on this can be found in Master Choa Kok Sui's book, Psychic Self Defense.
